Ochres are nature’s premier “Buff” color pigments. These natural iron oxides are known for their durability and are considered a permanent pigment. Ochres are lightfast with good chemical resistance as well.

Hoover 102NO is part of the “Good” series of Ochre pigments, balancing the need for product quality and cost. This pigment disperses on high speed equipment to a lower level than Hoover’s “Better” series, but with additional milling and additives, can often still achieve the desired grind specification. Ochres are used in many applications, but are often utilized in artist materials, wood stains, construction products, and paints and coatings.
